Count it once.
Count it right.

Stocktakes Online turns a Zebra scanner into a stocktake terminal. Scan the bin, scan the part, key the count — and it is on the portal before the operator has turned around. No spreadsheets to merge at the end of the day. No wondering whether the figure in your hand is the figure in the system.

The problem

A stocktake fails in the gap between the shelf and the spreadsheet.

Counts written on paper get typed up wrong. Counts held on a device get lost when the device does. Two people count the same bay and nobody finds out until the variance report. The counting was never the hard part — keeping it true on the way back was.

01

Nothing is stored on the device

Every lookup and every count is a live call to the portal. If a count did not reach the system, the operator is told there and then — not at 5pm when the device is docked and the shift has gone home.

02

Wrong codes are refused at the shelf

Bins and parts are checked against your own reference data as they are scanned. A code that isn't yours is rejected on the spot, while the operator is still standing in front of the rack.

03

Every count is attributable

Who counted it, on which device, at what minute. A figure that was entered and withdrawn stays visible to an administrator. Nothing vanishes without trace.

On the floor

Four taps, and the count is banked.

01

Sign in to a site

Company, site, username, password. The site decides which stocktake the device can count into and which bin codes resolve, so a scanner at one warehouse can never post counts to another.

02

Scan the bin

Lock it and the operator stays in that bay, working through it part by part — no re-scanning the location for every line.

03

Scan the part, key the quantity

Or switch to Scan/Increment, where each scan of an item counts one — for rails of garments and bins of identical stock, where typing a number every time is the slow part.

04

It's already on the portal

A supervisor watching the dashboard sees the count arrive within seconds, with the operator's name and the last four of the scanner's serial number against it.

In the office

Ten reports, on screen, printed or in Excel.

The half of a stocktake that decides whether it was any good is not what you counted — it is what you didn't. Every report is on screen, prints clean, and exports to CSV with the same columns.

You don't have to take our word for any of it — every report is on this site as a real PDF, exported from an actual stocktake.

TOTALS

By bin, site and company

The same figures at three levels, so a variance can be chased from a company total down to the shelf it came from.

GAPS

Unscanned parts and bins

What has not been counted yet. The report that tells you when a site is actually finished, rather than when people stopped scanning.

EMPTY

Bins marked empty

Checked and found to hold nothing — kept separate from never visited, because they mean opposite things.

PEOPLE

Scans by user

Counts per operator with first and last scan times, and a bar chart comparing them. Useful for pacing a count, and for costing the next one.

Built for the hardware

Zebra scanners, because a phone in a warehouse is a broken phone.

We supply, stage and support the devices as well as the software. Rugged Android computers with real scan engines and a trigger, sized to the job — from a compact unit for a retail back room to a cold-store gun that survives the freezer.
