A stocktake is only as good as the labels it reads. We make the physical side as well: pre-printed bin locations, magnetic labels that move when the racking does, and Zebra printers so you can produce your own.
Every count in the system is tied to a location. If the racking is labelled badly — handwritten, faded, peeling, or numbered in a scheme nobody remembers — the count that comes back is precise about the wrong place. Getting the labels right before the count is the cheapest thing you will do.
Printed from your location list, in order, ready to go up. Barcode plus human-readable text, sized so an operator can read it from the aisle and scan it from a distance. Materials chosen for the environment — a label in a freezer needs a different adhesive from one in a dry store.
For racking that gets reconfigured. Magnetic labels lift off and move with the beam rather than being scraped off and reprinted, which matters in a warehouse that reorganises with the seasons or by contract.
Printers, media and ribbons, plus the setup to make them produce the label you actually need. Desktop printers for a back room, industrial units for a despatch bench, and mobile printers for labelling in the aisle.
Aisle, bay, level, position — consistent, sortable, and readable aloud over a radio. A scheme invented one bay at a time becomes unusable at about bay forty, and by then it is on the racking.
Scannable from where the operator stands, not from where a ladder would put them. For high racking that usually means larger barcodes and a long-range scan engine rather than a climb.
Freezers, dusty stores, outdoor yards and washdown areas each defeat a different adhesive. Getting this wrong shows up six months later as labels on the floor.
Plenty of stock arrives unbarcoded. We can print item labels to your own numbering so it can be counted like everything else, rather than being the exception somebody handles on paper.
